About us

Volunteers, activists, community organizations, and legal service providers come together to respond to worksite raids. To do so, they gather at a central location close to where the event has happened and witnesses and victim families start to come for assistance.

This ad hoc team needs to quickly gather, organize and distribute information. Their goal is to collect, organize and distribute useful information for the defence of the victims, assess victims’ and their families needs, provide immediate assistance and organize mid and long term support.

Information about the event and the victims will come from different sources and at different times. It will be initially gathered by a team of intake volunteers but will later be enhanced by the service providers in charge of each aspect of the operation.

Our main goal is to create a data management system that allows this team to, in order of importance, (1) collect all the relevant information and make it available to service providers, victims and their families in the most useful way possible; (2) quickly and continuously inventory the resources available and to distribute this information to witnesses, victims and their families; (3) provide relevant actionable information to the response team that will allow them to recognize challenges, assess risk, and formulate an effective response strategy; (4) support ongoing collaboration and victim support after the initial emergency.
